Online Tools to Support Classroom Learning - Collection of online tools organized by skill.  Most of these tools can be used across multiple curriculum areas. These tools can be used with the whole group on the LCD projector, with the COWS, or on the classroom computers as a learning station.

Lessons/Station Ideas
Below are lessons written for second grade.  Each lesson integrates the Internet into the curriculum.  Worksheets to accompany each lesson are available using the link at the bottom of each lesson page.  The worksheets can be printed in advance for students to use.
Doodle Splash - Read a story and draw a "doodle" about your story.
Roller Coasters - Students build and test their own roller coasters.
Balance Activity - Use an online pan balance to explore weights.
Shape Sorter - Categorize and sort shapes using venn diagrams
Nutrition and You - Online activities about food groups and the food pyramid
Butterfly Fun - Complete a life cycle activity and color a butterfly picture online.  Additional Butterfly/Life Cycle activities included.
