Summarize

Author's Words/My Words Note Taking - Use this Word template to help students take notes from the Internet.  The "author's words" can be copied and pasted into the document and then paraphrased into "their words".  This template should work well for 5th grade. The template also includes a location to paste the citation for the web page where the information was found.

EasyBib - Use this online tool to help students do proper source citations.  The citation can be copied and pasted to a "Work Cited" page or to the Author's Words/My Words Note Taking template.
